ZAHARI SCHTONOV
Zahari Shtonov has been working in the audio industry for over 30 years. He began his career in Radio and Television broadcasting. He then went on to graduate from Full Sail University in Florida, where he studied Recording Arts. His experience ranges from recording and engineering live bands and orchestras, to capturing audio for sound effects libraries and productions, to sound and picture editing and mixing on a dub stage. For the last decade and a half, he has been specializing as a re-recording mixer for film and television.
Professional credits include working for production companies like Paramount, Walt Disney, E! Entertainment, MTV, Bravo, HBO as well as numerous independent filmmakers. Zahari has worked with talents like Jeff Goldblum (The Fly, Jurassic Park), Teri Polo (Meet the Parents, 2:13), and Joaquim de Almeida (Desperado, Fast Five). Most notably, he has worked on TV shows such as Bad Girls Club, Real World/Road Rules – The Duel II, and Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Movies he has worked on include The Chronicles of Narnia and Hustle and Flow.
Zahari has been an educator for more than 20 years, in five different colleges and universities, passing along his vast creative and technical knowledge.
