Joyce Kim completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Composition in Korea, where she also performed with Abraham Laboriel and Gary Garbatini. After moving to Los Angeles to attend Musicians Institute, she received the “Outstanding Student” award two years in a row.

Hyun has been directing music for church, while arranging and performing live in the Los Angeles area.

At MI, she teaches Private Lessons and directs keyboards for the Fusion LPW.
