JON RYGIEWICZ

JON RYGIEWICZ

Jon’s fascination with sound began at a young age. As a toddler, he ruined his mothers’ cookware sets by creating makeshift drum kits, and his childhood soundtrack consisted of Looney Tunes, Bugs Bunny, and the Muppets places from which he continues to draw inspiration, even to this day.

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin, Jon relocated to L.A. and attended Musician’s Institute. As an alumnus of both drums and audio engineering, Jon is an instructor for MI’s drum department. In addition to national tours with Max Bernstein (Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato) and other regional bands, Jon toured internationally with Emblem 3.

Jon has also done studio sessions with MI guitar instructor Barrett Tagliarino and Ozma’s Jose Galvez. Jon’s performances were featured on WB’s “Jack and Bobby,” NBC’s “Parenthood,” and earned his band Best Pop Single at the Los Angeles Music Awards.

Jon’s audio postproduction credits include short films, web series, commercials, and digital marketing content for clients like Anna’s Linens, Petnet, and director Brett Cramer.
