CHRISTIAN KLIKOVITS
Originally from Vienna, Austria, Christian Klikovits received classical training from age 11. After graduating highschool he attended the Vienna Conservatory, where he took Jazz Piano and graduated with honors in 1993. The following years he worked extensively as an accompanist and musical director for national artists, and as pianist for various theater productions. He also taught at the Matthias Hauer Conservatory in Wiener Neustadt.
In 1996, Christian relocated to Los Angeles, where he continues to work in a variety of artistic fields. Aside from touring as a keyboardist in Europe and the United States (working with artists such as Chaka Khan, Ellen Greene, Gloria Gaynor and Thelma Houston, among many others), he has written and produced music for film and television, and produced and played on a variety of records. He also has a teaching position at the renowned Musicians Institute in Hollywood, where he teaches classes in music theory, arrangement, jazz piano, and vocal accompaniment.
