He has collaborated with the Presha Crew and WreckIgnition to help create one of Los Angeles’ first D&B clubs. As the sound moved away from its classic roots to a more technological feel, new forms of House made the choice to evolve again an easy one.
Two Step, or UK Garage as it is known more commonly known was all of the love of the past with the new energy of the 2000s. Launching Pull, Los Angeles’ first UKG club showed that this sound could take root even across the pond from its origin.
Now a Garage and House DJ, Markman incorporates the classic sound of 90s House with the futuristic R&B elements of UK Garage and Bassline. He is also a producer, engineer and educator of music technology in Los Angeles.

Combining Ableton Push, Korg Volca synthesizers and Native Instruments plugins, his live sets are a freeform affair that still adheres to the types of sounds and energy that made his heroes, artists like Adamski, Orbital and the Chemical Brothers shows so compelling.
