1. Describe the moment/s when you knew that you wanted to study music further.
I grew up in a musical family having my uncle as a role model, so around the age of 11 he asked me to record a song with him for fun. I showed the track to my friends and received really good feedback from them, that was the moment I decided to study vocals to improve my skills and to be able to build a career in the future.
2. If you could only play one piece of music for the rest of your life, what would it be?
It would be “Hope For It” by Cimorelli, it’s a very emotional song with great vocals.
3. Which artist, band or composer would you most want to meet and collaborate with? Why?
Avril Lavigne. I love her voice and musical style, she is fierce and her songs have great lyrics.
4. If there is one piece of advice that you could give to other [area of study] students, what would it be?
Always warm up properly and be careful. Your body is your instrument, take good care of it.
5. What the most important lesson you’ve learned at MI so far? What has surprised you the most about MI?
If you struggle on something you gotta work harder and be perseverant. When people told me to work more on something I thought I had to work on that once a week and it was enough, but MI showed me that I need to improve myself every day and never give up.
