Recap: Steve Vai's Big Mama Jama Jamathon at MI's Live House in Hollywood

From September 28 through 30, Musicians Institute’s newest venue, Live House, hosted guitar legend Steve Vai’s 52 hours Big Mama Jama Jamathon in Hollywood! Vai partnered with MI to host this special event, where all of the proceeds benefitted Extraordinary Families, a non-profit foster family, adoption, and advocacy organization dedicated to “improving the daily lives and long-term outcomes of children and youth in foster care.”

The 52 hour event was a success, and many of Vai’s musician friends took their time to shine in the spotlight. Music lovers packed the Live House throughout the weekend and helped usher in the brand new music venue as one of the hottest new spots in Hollywood for events.
