The center is open for evacuees for shelter. They accept domestic family pets, but they must be in a travel carrier or pet crate. And it will allow residents to remain overnight.

What To Bring To An Evacuation Center
Red Cross Los Angeles advises those who are able to do so to bring the following with them to an Evacuation Center:
- Prescription medications
- Extra clothing
- Pillows and blankets
- Hygiene supplies
- Important documents
Getting to a shelter with Uber or Lyft, financial help
Uber said it will offer free rides, up to $40, while Lyft said it will offer two rides up to $25 each ($50 total) for 500 riders. The free rides will be available through January 15, 2025.
Uber: To redeem the discount, riders must apply the promo code “WILDFIRE25” in the Wallet section of their Uber app prior to requesting the ride to designated locations.
Lyft: For Lyft, Los Angeles residents can use the code “CAFIRERELIEF25” in the app for two rides up to $25 each ($50 total).
Airbnb offers free stays
Airbnb.org, in partnership with 211 LA, is offering free temporary housing for residents displaced or forced to evacuate due to the recent wildfires.

🚨How To Pack a Go-Bag
It’s advisable to use a backpack or other easily carried bag that can stay packed with essentials. Go-Bags should contain the following:

- 3 gallons of water per person
- 3-day supply of non-perishable food

- Small toiletry kit
- Sanitary pads and tampons
- Extra car and house keys

How To Stay Safe From Downed Wires
Due to extreme winds, there is a high risk of many power lines being down. According to Southern California Edison, you should always assume that all downed wires are live and dangerous.
- Stay inside your vehicle and call 911
- Stay at least 100 ft away
- Warn people to stay away
- Don’t touch or step in water near a downed wire
