MICHAEL BINIKOS

Michael Binikos teaches Console Operation and Open Counseling at MI. A 20-year veteran of the music business, he has worked as a record producer, engineer, writer and/or arranger for The Eagles, Donna Summer, Heart, LeAnn Rimes, Snoop Dogg, Kanye West, Emmylou Harris, and more. Michael operated Westlake Audio recording studio, which launched the careers of Michael Jackson, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Alanis Morissette.

In addition to making music for film and ad campaigns, he has remixed Far East Movement, DEV and The Cataracts, and Birdman. He has developed and signed new artists to labels such as Universal Motown, Casablanca and Warner-Electra. Michael also executive produces for TV, and is represented by the CAA agency.
