MI SUCCESS STORY: SABRINA PETRINI

Since graduating in 2010 from the AA Performance Vocal program, Sabrina Petrini has been a working artist. She eventually formed the band KINGQUEEN, with fellow MI alums Sal Ramazzini (bass), Bruno Ragolia (drums) and Dario Comuzzi (guitar). In 2013, the band won LA’s Hard Rock Rising battle of the bands and performed at Universal City Walk as well as at the House Of Blues opening for Steel Panther. Focusing on her solo career since 2014, she recently had two songs “F*cking in Love” and “Fade Away” placed on the soundtrack for the 2016 film, Love Is All You Need?, which is touring film festivals in spring and summer 2016.

Sabrina recently wrapped up in the studio with producer Gabe Lopez (James Brown, Belinda Carlisle, Universal), K Chozen (Big Sean, Katy Perry), Ruifu Wang (Monkey Business Productions), James Krausse (Beyonce, Nick Jonas) and DJ Decherd. Her 2016 album, I WILL. I CAN. I AM., featured strong and edgy vocals in a pop/electronic/urban direction. This Swedish-born artist has been endorsed by Mogami Cables, Audio Technica and became an artist at Roland US.
