MI SUCCESS STORY: DJ BEAMON

DJ Beamon graduated from the Keyboard program with an Associate of Arts degree from MI in 2013. Some of his first gigs post graduation include going out on tour with Sean Kingston, where he played alongside him in Times Square in NYC to ring in 2013 on MTV’s New Year’s Bash, which is one of the biggest cable audiences.

DJ has also played keyboard along with R&B singer-songwriter & producer Keyshia Cole, pop artist Kady Z, and Atlantic Records executive/songwriter Mike Caren. Currently, DJ can be found on tour with Jason Derulo, where he recently performed for the halftime show for the Minnesota Vikings vs. Detroit Lions Thanksgiving Day game. When he’s not our on tour, DJ performs and DJs at various spots in and around Hollywood, playing with fellow musicians who are also currently a part of big touring productions.
