MI SUCCESS STORY: CHEYENNE “JOLENE” MELTON

Singer Cheyenne Melton graduated from MI with an Associate of Arts Degree in 2013, concentrating on Vocals and the Independent Artist Program. Cheyenne has kept busy with fellow MI Alumni in Elaine Faye in their group, the Big Bang. Aside from being a lead vocalist, she has secured jobs as a backing vocalist with indie dance/pop band Father Tiger.

Cheyenne has previously sung with Stevie Wonder at L.A.’s Nokia Theater as well as with pop star Jasmine Villegas, and worked with Grammy-winning producer Dave Isaac and Destiny’s Child producer Mark Feist. Currently, Cheyenne is working on new music under the name Bodacious Thang and is steadily playing shows in and around Los Angeles.
