Paul started his career in Toronto at the legendary A&M Records then joined indie label I.R.S. to run the Canadian division before being promoted and transferred to Los Angeles, where he has been based for over 25 years.

In Los Angeles, Paul later joined the Universal Music Group where he served for 13 years as VP, Marketing Director at MCA Records, Geffen and Interscope.

In 2009, Paul founded Make Good Marketing and Management, a music services company with a mandate of not only helping indie artists, labels and managers get their message to market but also manage their content ownership and digital rights management.

Paul has deep music industry experience having been the head of the label in Canada and then in the U.S. as a senior brand manager, VP Marketing Director at the various Universal labels. He has successfully developed and executed marketing campaigns around brands, artists, albums and related products.

Paul has hands-on experience in radio promotion, publicity, marketing, A&R, digital rights management, publishing, record contracts as well as manufacturing.

The diverse list of artists that Paul has worked with over the years includes REM, The GoGo’s, Lyle Lovett, New Kids On The Block, Sublime, blink-182, Weezer, New Found Glory, The Cure, Imogen Heap, Rise Against and many others.
