A Southern California native, Donovan Raitt specializes in many different acoustic guitar styles, including modern fingerstyle, jazz, classical and flamenco guitar. Donovan received his Bachelor of Music Degree from the USC Thornton School of Music in 2005, where he was the recipient of the Paul LaRose Memorial Scholarship for guitar. After completing his Master of Music in Jazz Studies at California State Long Beach, Donovan returned to USC to complete his Doctor of Musical Arts degree in guitar performance, where he received the 2022 outstanding graduate award.

In addition to his numerous recording and touring credits, Donovan has released three albums of original solo acoustic guitar music to critical acclaim through Candyrat Records, as well as collections of sacred and contemporary music arranged for solo guitar. His most recent release, 2021’s One Man, Steely Dan, contains some of Steely Dan’s most well-known songs arranged for solo fingerstyle guitar.
