Musicians Institute (MI) is excited to announce the first event of its upcoming MI Conversation Series with Revolver Magazine! On October 19th, 2023, MI will host legendary musician Doc Coyle from the chart-topping band Bad Wolves. The event will be free and open to the public, with priority access and seating for MI students and alumni.
Coyle will talk about his experiences on tour with Bad Wolves and opening for Metallica with Ice Nine Kills, finding success in music, and the much anticipated new Bad Wolves album, Die About It, coming out on November 3rd, 2023.
This is a unique opportunity to hear first-hand stories, insights, and experiences from a true rockstar. Coyle is a talented musician, songwriter, and performer, and his insights into the music industry will be invaluable to anyone who is passionate about music.

Doc Coyle Biography
Doc Coyle is an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He is best known as the lead guitarist and co-founder of the heavy metal band Bad Wolves. Coyle has also been a member of the bands God Forbid, Vagus, and Autumn’s End. Coyle began playing guitar at a young age and was inspired by bands such as Metallica, Megadeth, and Slayer. He formed his first band, God Forbid, in 1998. God Forbid released six studio albums and toured extensively throughout their career.
In 2017, Coyle and several other musicians formed Bad Wolves. Bad Wolves quickly rose to fame with their cover of the Cranberries’ song “Zombie.” The song was a massive hit, reaching number one on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart.
Bad Wolves has released two studio albums to date, Disobey (2018) and N.A.T.I.O.N. (2019). Both albums were commercial and critical successes.
